Very nice rural road. Almost no traffic. It's a very narrow road, but with and excellent road surface. After having a good time cornering in this road, go visit Alquézar, very beautiful village.
A classic ride with a variety of corners from very slow to very fast. see the video
La Seu d'Urgell - Sort section
An unbelievably good road across the pyrenees which runs from quite close to the Andorran border down to the town of Sort. There are many fast open corners with great visibility, allowing you to use road width to the full. This is one of if not the best road I ever rode. A must if you are in the area. The only downside is that sometimes some cattle walk into the road, but this is only a problem on a few of the more blind corners travelling up the mountain at the start of the route.
It's a very fast road. Corners are very open. The part passing the Natural Park of Enciña da Lastra, it's very beautiful.
Carretera divertida, muy rápida. Desde La Cañiza(PO406) pasando por Cortegada hasta Celanova(OU531)
It's a very nice road. It's a fast road, the corners are open enough to make it fast, not enough open to make it boring. If you have to go from Portugal to Ourense I total recommend this road.
to ride this route start from A Guarda as the sun sets behind you,the views are fantastic, there are a few small towns in-between when you have to slow down, otherwise ride this road according to your ability as the cops are very scarce.I also rode this road at sunset on the return and it was fantastic, just a bit slower.Billyk
Excellent road, the tarmac it's great, and the corners fantastic. As for the scenery, by the river it's great, after that it's pleasant.
Route 103 in Northern Portugal runs from Braga in the West to Braganca in the East. About 200 kilometres of absolutely stunning mountain road. Traffic is generally light and the road surface, by and large, is excellent. Chaves, about half way, makes a nice stop off point and the opportunity to refuel self and bike. The western section is largely fast, open sweepers, the eastern has a lot more tight and twisty stuff. Ride it, you'll love it!
Excellent mountain road. Great scenery.
Very nice road... Great corners and the tarmac its great.
The scenery its very pleasant. To bad its only 20 kms.
The N222 winds its way through the world reknowned port vineyards along the Duoro River. The sinuous road follows the river rising up the valley then dropping down low, all the while sending you twisting & weaving along the way. Sections of it were freshly paved when I rode it in 2004 thanks to European Union funds. Traffic can be a problem during the summer or on weekends. You also have to keep an eye out for farm vehicles. You'll seldom get out of third gear but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. The scenery is spectacular. I compare this to the Mosel River road in Germany, without the castles but with a lot more curves.
Great road... The corners are very tight, if you like speed this is not the road for you... if you like cornering all the time this is the road youre looking for.
This road has some hazards... some junctions, not many but better slow when they approach, and the most unpredictable are the animals... never found one myself but thats what people from there worn.
Very nice road along the north side of the famous Gorges du Verdon. Rock wall on one side, steep canyon down to the river Verdon on the other. Can be too busy in summer, much too nice a road to get stuck between campers and caravans!
Very nice road.. This is a mountain road with great tarmac, very low traffic even on Sundays. Theres a little of everything.. some nice but not very long and boring straights, nice corners. The only thing you need to be carefull is passing through some villages.
Very nice road.
The section between Aveiro and Ãgueda Its very poor, bad tarmac, some traffic and the scenery isnt very good. But after some 5 kms of Ãgueda the tarmac becomes spectacular, no traffic, great corners with a great scenery.
Nice road... It has a bit of everything.. the first 10kms with very nice corners.. the other 15 kms with high speed corners and long straights.
This is a very long road.. this is just a small part in whitch I drove.
Some day I will complete this road.
Very nice road.. great scenery, lots a great corners.
The tarmac could be better.. but its not bad.
Great road, nice tarmac and plenty of superb corners.
You have to stay focus in the junctions with other roads, some drivers dont respect the stop signs.
If you like cornering this its one of the best roads that I know from north Portugal.
