This is a spectacular run over and through the mountains climbing up to around 1050m. Its around 18 miles and if you see more than 2 other vehicles along the entire route then youve been unlucky. Be careful though as theres lots of blind, tight bends.
The legendary Stelvio pass, an unbelievable selection of switchbacks on the Italian side of the Swiss border that has to be seen to be believed. It's almost always very busy and so is hard to get a clear run, but this is definitely a 'must do' for all bikers at least once.
Cannes - Grasse - Castellane section: Done this route a few times now on the way to the Grand Canyon. Excellent ride, with good visibilty on fast corners, made for Blades and R1's. Also known as Route Napoleon.
A trip to the highest village in Spain. Can be quite slow going due to the number of bends (and convoys of German motorhomes!), but worth it for the scenery!
Hardly any traffic to speak of, spectacular views to the coast and surrounding valleys and a nice little bar in El Marchal to finish off in. The reverse of this route is just as good!
Done this a couple of time and it´s a fantastic day out.
