I begin at Sand Run Parkway in Akron. A short way in the creek water (shallow) crosses the road as you travel through the tree covered road. Once on River Road you'll experience nice curves and straightaways as you go North along the Cuyahoga River. Peninsula (Route 303) is a nice place with shops, restaurants and a great view of the river and railroad. River view Road between Vaughn Road & Route 82 has some loose gravel on pavement but does not last very long. Chaffee Rd is a nice straightaway. Valley View Road/Canal Road has last a few sweeping curves as it follows alongside the canal. As you drive out of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and cross Rockside Road you are back in an urban setting. I like to end my ride North with a stop at Quaker Steak & Lube (Biker friendly). It's a nice country feeling ride so close to urban areas of Akron & Cleveland.
Really nice twisty and beautifully scenic marsh surroundings. A great road!
