Meet at Sheetz. Cruise through suburbia, swing by narcissi winery and head north on back country roads. Skirt around saxonburg and then across route 8 to Evans City and up to Harmony Inn for lunch.
A great bikers haven. Lots of bikes to see, an outdoor venue with band, bar, and BBQ.
I used to ride this loop or similar at least once a week. Once you cross over into West Va. You can explore a few other options. Pretty much all the roads near this loop are pretty good. It has been a few years since I left home but last time I road through here the roads were in great shape, pretty country views, little no no cops, and nice mix of slow and high speed curves with a few straight shots. This route is all of memory, it's been a few years but great roads anywhere out this way.
Lots of different types of curves, decent surface, can be some emerging cars from side roads, so beware otherwise good.
Pleasant easy, rolling road with sweeping curves and a couple of hairpins.
A fun road that makes a nice day out as it takes in many small towns. If you want to get away from it all, this isn't for you.
Pleasant run with easy corners and nice scenery, easy to reach from teh city.
Nice combination of sweepers and tighter turns.
Nice curves on this stretch. Part of the Orange Belt.
Lots of nice corners that are great fun but can be difficult to pass.
A nice little combination of turns on which to have some fun.
