Cracking ride through some of the southern parts of the Picos de Europa Parque Nacional. Great scenery, roads mostly very good but some of the surface of the LE-333 is not so good.
There was hardly any traffic on the day we rode here in September 2017.
There's a video of the ride on my You Tube channel at https://youtu.be/k4SA2YnPbOk
It's a very fast road. Corners are very open. The part passing the Natural Park of Enciña da Lastra, it's very beautiful.

sudar.
El Escorial - Robledo de Chavela (por la Cruz Verde) -
Valdemaqueda - Cebreros - El Tiemblo - Navaluenga.
Puerto de San Isidro has little traffic (except in its low end), better views, and more kilometers of fun than the more crowded N-630 between Leon and Oviedo through Puerto de Pajares, so its a good alternative to it.
Es una opción agradable para no tener que usar la Ruta de la Plata o pasar por Madrid
As an alternative to the main road between Burgos and Bilbao you find this fantastic road. Curves start in Oña, and going north between trees and mountains you find Puerto de Angulo (it has a good view point). At the bottom of it you will find Artziniega.
Fantastic road bordering Embalse de Sobrón. In the middle
of it you can visit the medieval City of Frias.
In Trespaderne you can choose to go to the medieval town of
Medina de Pomar, going north to Bilbao through another
fantastic road, or going west to Santander through another
panoramic road following Ebro river.
Starting from San Vicente take the N634 before turning off onto the N621 to Unquera. Starts off a nice low level road with sweping bends & scenery before it starts to climb into the Picos de europa Mountains. A fantastci run along a mountain gorge with tight bend after tight bend before the road calms down a bit as you approach Potes. As you leve Potes the road gets a little narrower and realy starts to get intersting as you start to climb up to the summit at Puerto de San Glorio at 1609m - there is view after view of fantastic mountain scenery and more bends than you can shake a stick at. As you begin to drop down towards Riano the road surface changes for the better and the road is slightly wider, rewarding you with faster sweeping bends and a few good straights until you arrive at Riano which is surrounded by lakes... there is a service station at the entrance to the village with the best view I've ever had whilst fulelling and a great little Cantina just behind the service station to refuel the rider.
A very twisty section with excellent views. Road surface a little dodgy in places, but otherwise very good.
A really good twisty and fast route, not much in the way of run off in places, so you need to remain focused, but a spectacular ride with an excellect lack of traffic.
A really good selection of tight hairpins, fast sweepers and a nice view as the road rises up from sea level to around 1000m. As this is rural Spain, you may need to pay some attention to farm animals straying into the road (although I didn't see any on the way). This route is ideal if you've just got off the ferry from Santander.
