Perfektní zatáčky v blízkosti Banské Bystrice
Very nice twisty road through the woods & mountains. There are parts where the road surface is not so good with a few potholes and patches.
You also need to be alert and watch out for animals on the road: rabbits, deers, dogs.
The environment is beautiful, the corners are awesome. Visibility is quitelimited. However, there is literally no traffic on the road.
Recommended for bikers with modest speed and bikes with soft-suspension.
Here you can ride on wooden bridge between rocky cliffs. Nice scenery otherwise boring for riding
Nice road around Slovak Paradise and through Low Tatras. Quality of asphalt is above average except most interesting part between Mlynky and SNV.
Popular route near Kosice. Good pavement, wide route, quick curves...
Nice pass between Topoľčany and Topoľčianky. Almost very good surface, nice straight sections, very nice corners in the middle. You can visit Chateau Topoľčianky, local wine producer. Good wine for reasonable price.
Great route near a Polish border- something like Alpine passes substitute:-)
Great corners on almost good surface. Nice route.
I'll give a four and a half star rate becouse of some small sections and it's poor surface. But otherwise it's a great road on twisty roads through beautiful nature, little gypsy villages etc.
Perfect road through pass Vernar. Spectacular views, small villages, closed factories...
Nice road, nice scenery, ends in Bojnice where is famous beautiful castle and ZOO.
Different sections, different route. From narrow bumpy roads to open with nice viewpoints. Nice pass Klak in the middle, perfect and famous pass Sturec (sometimes called Harmanec) before Banska Bystrica with perfect surface from Ban.Bystrica side. More police near Banska Bystrica.
Nice rural road, most of the time with relatively new surface, with lots of twisties and some very tight corners. May surprise! Typical Wallachian countryside round you. In the end, good base point for continue through Slovakian hills.
This is one of the best roads if you want to cross a Slovakian border. Most of time, especially on the Czech side, very good asphalt. Great mid-fast corners round reservoir ance, tighting to Slovakian border. Behind the border, on the Slovakian side is route little bit narrover with i bit worse tarmac. In the corners, there is some kind of light gray tarmac and it is slippery in the rain. A lot of police measuring speed in Slovakia!
Very nic road for not to long trip. Beautifull scenery , nice forest, and nice new road expect 5 km near the Brutovce vilage.
Open, sweeping bends with good visibility and quite flat, mixed up with fast stratighter sections. By the lake its popular with tourists otherwise only light traffic, good fun.
The route starts in near city Banska Bystrica then is goes north through Donovaly pass around 900m above sea level (mountain resort) with a nice corners on good quality tarmac, follows to city Ruzomberok then around city Dolny Kubin - nice landscape wives and also some nice corners. I have stopped at village Oravsky Podzámok where is beautiful Oravsky zámok (castle) and good places to have a coffe with cake. In Oravsky Podzamok turned back south towards Dolny Kubin where I turned to Parnica (they made fantastic sheep cheese here) - Kralovany. On this part of the trip road goes near the river through a beautiful valley with a light traffic. On your way back you will pass again Donovaly a return back to Banská Bystrica.
Roundtrip through small villages and nice countryside with plenty curves and narrow roads.
Gute Route fur Anfenger und auch Erfarene
